Caught 10-12 just like these 2 on a spinnerbait today (battery issues put the kybosh on yesterdays trip) steady north winds at 20mph from the north had them stacked along the south shore like cordwood. Caught another 15 or so smaller but still keepers. Seemed like every stump or laydown was holding at least one of the good ones and a couple of the smaller ones. There's just something about a solid 2 or 3 lb bass smashing a spinnerbait and holding right where he ought to be that makes me giggle.

Congratulations KDS! Pretty fish. And yes, I would be giggling like an idiot! I will admit that I am jealous, too!

Totally agree with your bait. Love catching "STUPID" fish that can't resist. Last Nov I entertained a friends relative throwing spinnerbaits. He was a fly fisherman. He had not experienced such quick back to back action and used a baitcaster. A few backlashes sure but his aggravation turned to joy when he hooked up. It was truly one of those days when you wished your kids or a rookie was with you. Great time.

Ain't that fun? Worth fighting the wind for days like that. Great job, Ken!
