We wanted to test the motor on his boat so we brought a few rods. Fished for about 3 hours and got several 3lb plus LGMouth and one small Potomac Pike. Broke off a bigger PP on 30lb braid.
Took one pic of Dave's nice one. ![]() Dave's motor is a Mercury 60 ELPTO and had been sitting for 5 years in a garage. We changed the impeller two weeks ago. The carbs had to be disassembled, cleaned and assembled last week. They where really gummed up and after the cleaning the engine started right up. Still the jets where not adjusted right so the engine had minimal power. So a short trip was in order. And Dave forgot the seats.. Still a very nice boat for backwater fishing. Capt Mike
