			Yeah I bet it was. That 10 pounder gave me a good pull but I couldnt imagine setting the hook, seeing a huge fish like that roll on the end of the line. It would be a heart stopper lol........

			Read a lot of fly fishing bass. Still can't believe people fly fishing bass.  Guys can handle 20lb salmon on fly tackle pretty smoothly, so it should be ok to fight a 14lb LM. |

			h20 i can. i have done it. 6 pound tippit on a 8 weight rod would work till the fish got in a strong currant.an 8 wt rod only puts 3/4 of a pound of force on the hook, even if bowed in half. the fight would have been awesome. though a skilled angler-much to my suprise-did catch the fish..i still think that the world record largemouth bass will be broke by a guy either fishing for the first time or using a cane pole and crickets.. zooker
