Hey are we fishing a tourney!!!

Can I compete? I'm not sure if I will be going out over the next month but let me just ask for the record.

We are currently having out summer time so it will be a bit out of sinc with you all.

But like I said the chances of me going fishing over the next month is like 5%

I am in on this one. Got to retain the winners circle LOL. Fishing will be getting tough though around here because it gets cold. 4 hours handicaps me a little too because fish will be getting inactive but we will see what happens.

the bite should be here in south carolina soon, about a week or so. i am hoping to go with my neighbor on his boat and then hit the banks at my favorite hole a few times. i changed the hours you have to fish to qualify for the tourney from 4 to 6. i thought 6 was a little much cause daylight savings time is no more,which means less time after school left to fish. hope there will be a few people entering their weights. i had sent kevin a pm to sticky all this stuff but he has'nt gotten to it yet.

Well I went fishing today for the tourney and it was a frustrating day First off my outboard wouldn't run, and the water level was way down, as low as I've ever seen it. I couldn't make it to where the vegetation was due to the outboard being out And I couldn't get to some of the places due to the water being so low. Anyways I still fished the tourney, things like this do happen in tourneys so I sucked it up and dealt with it. I manged to catch 7 bass over 12", the biggest being 15". I caught a total of 14 bass for the 4 hours, but just couldn't find the big ones I am trying to send the pics to Rebasser for posting since I can't seem to download them onto webshots for some reason. Hopefully he won't be too mad about posting them again for me. I obviously didn't get much weight but for all the headaches it was the best I could manage for the 4 hours. It would have taken me about 45 minutes with the trolling motor to get where I wanted, so I decided to fish instead of making the run. Perhaps that was the wrong decision, but it's what I did, and I'll stick with it. I thought this would probably be the last time I get to the coal pit period, or even fish at all for awhile , so I made the run after taking care of a bunch of stuff this morning. I would have preferred to fish early today, but at least I got to fish .

tough times but you got some.
For the rest of you guys I fished my tourney last saturday and I did better than last time as far as weight so you guys better bring it. I am going to tell all details when Reb gets my pics up for me.

Did you join the site before nov this month? You have to be a member I believe before the tournament starts. If you where you are in.

i think this will be the last one till spring, it will be too cold to fish next month for most of us,

I think the next tourney might be February, good fishing that month, but January and December can be sparce.

alritey,,, im gonna do my 4 hours of fishing this weekend @ my trusty lake in Maine (if its not already frozen over)

.....i dont think ill get 5 bass, but the 2 or 3 i get are sure to be decent size

How many ppl total are fishin in this thing?
Do we have ne prizes yet?...if we dont get many ill throw sumthin in

gonna hit up a stock tank tomorrow for my tournament day and throw some jigs and flukes. In the 2 years I've been fishing this lake I've caught 1- 4 pounder, 3- 5 pounders, 2- 6 pounders. One of those 6 pounders was right after the spawn and SKINNY, was 26" though which is typically a 8-9 pound bass. I imagine there's some 12-14 pounders in this lake. With the weights I've seen posted so far, its possible I could catch one fish and win the tournament and BIG Fish.
