What in your opinions have been the best presentation with the "suspending" X-rap? I read somewhere in here that you guys like to work them hard and fast.

mine is olive on silver w/ some suspendots at the front to make it sink really slowly for the prespawn at Kentucky lake. keeps the bait nose-down, more like a natural minnow feeding on the rocks or decending to the bottom.

Faster as the water temps rise, slower as they fall. And deadstick the dang things in winter LOL

I will use anything that works rotfl. I really "used" to dead stick them up north, and I mean deadstick for a minute. So anything that the fish want is what you gotta figure out. It seems like it's different everytime out. Some variables remain constant(the fish are there), some don't)they won't bite a dang thing today). If it isn't working, try a FLUKE

Hi Bass Kicker,

Does X-rap work on pike fishing? I never try it when I look for pike.

I caught my first fish on the X raps today.I used a silver blue size 10 today.I caught 8 bass and 4 pickerel on them, but I actually think I foul hooked alot of the fish I caught.They were hooked on top of the head or in the backs when I boated them except for the pickerel, they had it in their mouths.

I caught my first bass on my X-Rap yesterday also. And PNJ I too, had a pickerel. My arm sure is killing me today. I worked that bait for hours yesterday.

H2O the x rap is sapose to be awsome for pike and that kinda sucks you pike/walleye season dosnt open until second weekend of may ours is open year round
