a lot of stores around here have quit selling cotton cordell lipless cranks, but are stocking the shelves with cordell billed crankbaits. I've been looking for the same cranks as you pnj, but in rayburn red

Thank you guys for taking the time to look for me.Zooker, They are longer and thinner profiled than the regular spot traps. JB, They anit 4 sale, but they're yours for free since you want them.send me your address. Here is a super spot with the spot minnow. they are 2 different sounding animals. That is why I am looking for the spot minnows. They discontinued making them in 1997, but there were millions of them made before being discontinued. They do however still make the pond spot minnow which is too small for most applications. Thanks again, P N J

how small is too small? Here's a Cotton Cordell Rattlin Spot minnow thats 4 1/4" in length...looks identical to the picture you're posting, as do those from ebay.

JB, I have been using the traps missing a treble.I don't know what brand the top one is , I think it's a old bomber brand. It suspends nice for the time of year I use them, it works well. I would like you to have the rayburn reds, I never pack them to fish. P N J

Zooker, You can run up a phone bill calling people on this site, but the fact remains, your better half is still gonna notice the certain phone calls your trying to camoflage in with the others as being all Kevin's site member calls. P N J

i will never be able to throw a rattletrap the things are like rocks ur cranking in almost feels like ur trying to keep up with the lure to stop it from falling then again i was probably using a slow reel

Definatley need a 6-1 reel or I should say a reel that picks up 23 to 24 inches of line to work this lure correctly. Keeps the hands and wrist able to fish it all day.
