Guys, I know everyone wants to be "macho" and show how badass they are by "being out in the heat" and whatever...sometimes we can't even help it(work)..but just be cautious and for anyone that does choose/have to be outside..stay hydrated and be smart.

Ken you are right to a degree. I'm a young man in great health, not overweight or anything like that and the heat has gotten me before. There is no getting around it, we are human, flesh and blood and all and that heat can be killer if you don't adjust. That doesn't mean give up when its hot, but drink plenty of fluids and fish smart. Mowing grass is one thing, fishing like a madman all day long with no water breaks is another. I can mow grass no matter what the temp if I got a cool room sitting there waiting at the end of it.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD Last week went out with dad one day(thursday I think ) The water temps in "TROUT CREEK" were 95 degrees in some spots. Thats surface temp Got as cool as 89 in one place though. No wind that day, 96 degree temps, and only caught 1 dink and a mudfish for 6 hours of fishing 10am-4pm Fish were just to wrecked to bite, even the skeeters were too hot to bite I've been fishing with Kirk quite a bit, gonna fish a tourney this sunday with him. It has not been under 90 degrees for over a month when we've been on the water. I'm getting use to the heat, and no way do I want move back where it snows, but it is summer, and it does get HOT! Lizards

Could you be a little more specific Lot's of Weeds down here Glad your catching them. I have caught some, but no doubt it's summer, and new waters to me. Got a lot to learn about tides/rivers/tanic water/ etc... A whole new learning curve, and the only thing I gotta do to learn it is go fishing Lizards

Lizzie good luck in the tourney. Tell Kirk I said hey also. Weeds and woods, weeds and wood. Yes, It's hot, dang hot. Try wearing bunker gear and going to a brush fire in the middle of the day. I'm gonna market it as a new revolutionary weight loss plan.

Yeah, the sweet tea is one of the best. No popeyes today, trying to cut down on all the grease. Limiting myself to 1 trip every other week.
