cranky, you won't believe what a dif. winning this forum tournament makes in your life...the air smells better, the fish keep getting bigger, and with kevins award winning prizes, you'll probably need a new tackle box! |

Congratulations to ALL. Really glad to see some new winners, except WTL rotfl. Keep it up, nice to see the fish pics. However next time Senko, make those pics a little smaller LOL. Gonna be going for this next quarter myself. Let's see who's up to the challenge. Lizards

To the Members of BassFishin.Com: I wanted to let you all know that we have updated the 3rd Quarter Tournament Results to reflect two Co-Winners in the Largemouth Bass Category (Senko & WTL). Because there was much grey area in the rules, we felt it was proper to reward both Senko and WTL for a job well done. Both had followed the rules completely, but fell victim to less than clear instructions set forth in the Tournament Information/Rules Thread. There is no Random State Winner in lieu of promoting WTL from the Random State Winner to Co-Winner of the Largemouth category. When we put together the forum tournament rules, we should have been much more clear as to what standards should be kept stringent as a guideline for inclusion. We left a bit of grey area, partially because we failed to be explicit and partially to not exclude those that may have "forgotten" the rules out on the water or were left without the ideal circumstances for meeting any exact requirements. Our goal was to provide a means for people to have fun taking some pics of their fish and have a chance to win something for participating. I'm glad to see everyone is having fun and that these tournaments have prospered thanks to the many members. I have made some minor adjustments to the guidelines for the 4th Quarter Big Bass Tournament. One was setting a standard for inclusion, requiring a length measurement, girth measurement, and some form of id photo to be posted. And to answer a question recently put forth... there is no limit to the number of bass you can weigh-in for the tournament. We all should think about having some sort of "Forum Tournament End-of-Year Classic", that would include a "fish-off" of sorts between all of our past winners, including the Big Bass Tournaments and our previous 5-fish limit Forum Tournaments. I'll let you guys toss that idea around. Look forward to seeing the weigh-in's for this quarter. Get out there and fish! Take care and good fishin' Kevin
