I recently caught two spawners with a 9 inch air lizard. The female tore it up and it was my last one. Riverside makes them (a subsidary of Yum?) but I can't find them.

I bought Strike King's 3X ones 'cause I know they float, but, as anyone who has used they're cyberflexxx products knows, the material stcks to itself, and the legs don't always work right. They're also only 6 inches.

Does anyone know how to get air lizards, or any other floating lizards?

Also, what brands of lizards are your favorites?

simple old school "eye" techique core out a hole in the lizard add foam glue in place add floating bullet to nose lizard floats..

i like zoom really don't need them to float just move well..

Patrick, I was given a bag of the Strike King Iguanas-the big ones-a while back, and apparently they have the problem somewhat fixed-they are not near as sticky as the originals were. I'm still skeptical, but it looks like they are moving in the right direction.

Try Google Search....Found this website that sells the Riverside 6" floating lizard bait. My guess is if you contact them they might have the bigger ones.

Actually I just went to BPS and they do have a Floating Lizard listed but it's not the ones I bought from there before. The ones I bought were made of a stiffer plastic type material, and were just lousy with hooksets. Snapback also made some Lizards that floated, they were very similiar to the 3X brand, but I haven't seen any Snapback stuff in a long time, not sure if they are even in business any longer. There are lots of floating lizards out there, just go search and see what you find. But be careful, not all "FLOATING" lizards actually float.

Bass assassin used to make a killer floating lizard.I havn't seen them around in quite some time though.

River side air lizards are coated with anise and that makes them float better. Never ever rub your eyes after handling or you will be very sorry.

They work well but give me a zoom for hookup ratio any day.

Hey Mike-does Riverside still make them? I have a couple bags from years back but haven't seen them in a long time.

I've caught some real nice fish on the 3x Iguanas. I use a 3/16 bullet weight and t-rig em with a 5/0 ewg superline hook. You might be suprised at how many small bass will eat that thing too.

I wish the Gambler's new Lizard would float. It makes a great topwater lure with those legs but wish it would remain floating when stopping the retrieve for a more natural apearance (considering all the live lizards I throw from my boat will literally walk on water the entire way to shore unless I bass nails it (we have small lizards called chamelians here)).

Reb I do not think so as the forty pounds I had was from a estate sale. Must have had two recycle bins full of that stuff.

I purchased an estate sale for 98 bucks at an auction and got six recycle bins of soft baits and four jumbo tackle boxes of hard baits. Ten rods never used and about four piece-o-crap reels. The gent who passed away was a horder and never even opened the packages. It is sad to think that someone who has that affliction never went fishing much..
