Good deal at Cabelas

Or at least I suspect it is. I am not a user of Quantum reels. So I cannot attest to their quality. However, Cabelas is having a fall clearance sell right now. I was checking it out and saw the Quantum Tour Edition PT Baitcating reel on sale. Was $239.99 and is now on sale for $129.99. If your a Quantum fan and in need of a new baitcaster, or wanting to get started with baitcasting and are looking for a deal, you want to check this out.

Yeah, they've been selling for cheap for a few months now. They're discontinued, and the new models are coming in less than two months. Keithdog is right though, you just MIGHT want to try these out. If you don't like them, give them to me.

If you are a REAL man

and don't mind reels that are unnecessarily obese, these are a great deal. The quality is there but it took Quantum FO-EVAH to get the message I've been preaching (to the choir, mostly) for many anni; Namely, WEIGHT IS THE ENEMY!
Didja kneaux that the heralded "D" series Curados are on the way out? Well, it's not like they weren't warned when they added $$$ and another 1+ ozzie of weight to them (except the 100D. That one didn't gain weight but it did gain $$$.)
BTW, the local BPS and Academommys sell out of the new 'Rado E7:1 the instant they hit the shelves. See there, Shimano? I told you so!
