Weezle, Great reel! I have two of the Cabela's special version, The "Red REVO" and I truly enjoy them. Before you leap, however, please look carefully at the new Shimano Curado E7. It is an ounce lighter and perhaps a bit more compact than a REVO and I think you'll benefit greatly by "dieting" in your tackle array. Weight is the enemy when it comes to tackle, affecting sensitivity and speeding the onset of fatigue during a long day on the water. Please take the time to "read up" before you write the check. Whatever you select, either will serve you well. They are both very high-quality reels and excellent performers. I just feel you'd "gain by losing" (weight, that is.) Lancer6 |
