24/7 fishing network
I have been thinking of dish network for awhile just for one station. WFN tv.....
Any reviews on it since it will cost me my Starbucks budget? Confused in Accokeek.. Capt Mike

Capt, I work for Dish and I can tell you now I havent gotten to watch the channel myself. But it is only available in HD so if you make a switch and want the channel you will need an HD tv and receiver.

You still have to have a HD receiver to get HD programming now your tv may or may not being able to view. Some SD tvs can some cant. Still the picture will not be as good on SD as it does on an HDtv. I love my HD and would trade nothing for it.

I know I enjoy the FNW and the shows that are on it. I had dish and just had to upgrade to get the sports channels and FNW was one of them. It just depends on how much you like to watch fishing shows if it is worth the $. I get to tape a lot of shows for a rainy day off of it, VS, and ESPN2. The DVR was a great bag for the $$$$. Just set the shows you want to tape which many come on through the early AM hours that you can set it to tape and not interfer with you normal watching of channels.
The DVR takes care of having to have a convertor box.
