Sportsman's Warehouse Liquidation
I just went there and their baits are on sale for 20%, rods/reels for %10.
This is only the third day of the liquidation, so it's probably going to get better. Thought I'd let you know. Take your monkey off it's leash. |

I went to the site and didn't see any discounts. Is the sale over?

3D,
Sportsman's Warehouse doesn't have an online store. I called and their baits are still going 20% off. Maybe next week they'll have better discounts. This came from their site. News March 10, 2009 Stuart Utgaard, the Chairman and CEO of Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings, today announced that the company is taking two major actions to improve liquidity. 1. 23 stores are being liquidated to reduce bank debt. 2. 15 stores are being sold to UFA Co-op. Aurora, CO Coon Rapids, MN DePere, WI Henderson, NV Lafayette, IN Las Cruces, NM Las Vegas, NV Legacy, TX Memphis, TN Nampa, ID New Berlin, WI Oklahoma City, OK Pittsburgh, PA Pocatello, ID Roanoke, VA Rogers, AR Round Rock, TX St. Cloud, MN Sioux Falls, SD Southaven, MS Visalia, CA Wichita, KS Woodbury, MN Bend, OR Bozeman, MT Burlington, WA Coeur dAlene, ID Fargo, ND Federal Way, WA Helena, MT Kennewick, WA Lacey, WA Missoula, MT Portland, OR Salem, OR Silverdale, WA Spokane, WA Vancouver, WA It is hoped that these actions will enable the firm to go forward as a viable entity with approximately 2,300 employees. Sportsman's Warehouse is a leading outdoor retailer of sporting goods headquartered in Midvale, Utah. |

Sorry. Mis-read you post. I was thinking and looked at Tackle Warehouse.

I'll have to see if Piggy2 can get me some discounted SB's since there isn't a Sportsman Warehouse anywhere close to me and they don't sell online.
Thanks for the post. |

Yeah, I just bought some stuff yesterday. I'm mad though, it's the closest store around where I live [unless I drive 45 minutes to basspro]. The store has only been open for 3 months and now it's closing. Bummer.
Anyway, if anyone sees the prices go down again, make a post. At my store [Vegas] the prices were discounted up to 30% depending on the item. I bought some terminal tackle, it was 20% off. |

I agree, but I'm happy about the prices.

Vegas eh? Great town! I'm guessing you fish Lake Mead? I'm thinking of moving out there and wondered how the fishing is.
