That's awesome. Since I'm only 17, I don't have any kids of my own to take fishing, but whenever my little cousins want to go, I try to take them, even if its at my backyard pond. BB

That's awesome, and a great point, I drive a few hundred miles to my parents house about once every two months to take my youngest brother fishing. He loves it and I know I just died to go when I was a kid. On my second birthday I got a fishing pole and My older brother had to open the rest of my presents, I was just completely satisfied |

The bait monkey first attacked my son at the age of 5 and has not let up since. I took him last Saturday and he had a blast. I would hook them and he would land them. Apparently, I wore him out because I said "fish on" and I didn't hear anything. Looked over my shoulder and he was sound asleep. Even the best of fisherman need a nap. He just has to learn that the time to nap is on the way home and not when the fish are biting. Taking kids can be the best time you ever had fishing!
