Calais 4x8 DC
Has anyone had the chance to use one of the Shimano Calais 4x8 DC? I am just wondering how the Digital Control Circuit works and if it is worth the $649.99.

I have thrown one (not mine) and it is an incredible reel. Contrary to what the advertise it is not impossible to backlash, but it takes a lot effort to do so.
But in my opinion, no reel is worth $650.

Wow...pair that with a Megabass rod, and you're talking a bassin' rig costing over a grand. I never thought I would see the day. Still a nice bit of engineering there. I always loved studying feedback and control systems.
