I have a thing for trying differant brands , and have never tried one of these. By saying you have never had a problem , are you saying you like them ? Or saying they are nothing special ?

I have a 7' MH Guide Select casting and I like it pretty well. I think it is on the lighter side compared to some MH rods but I like it quite a bit. Nothing outstanding but I Can't find anything bad to say either in that price range. I think it has Alonite guides. I think I paid $100 for it.

I have one spinning reel that has only seen light use. It is a little strange since the bail is so big. |

I also use a President and a Daiwa (forget model). I like the Okuma better than either of the others. I feel that the Okumas are a smoother casting reel. After three years of using them they still perform as new. As far as the rods I am debating on the Okuma swimbait rod or the BPS Nitro. I have read a lot of good reviews on Okuma products.

Okuma spinning reels are top shelf IMO. I really like them alot. I've had my Inspira since 2005, and have yet to have a single issue with it. Haven't tried any of the casting reels, but plan to.

Hey, anyone who uses the Okuma spinning reels, and the flooger supreme (one with the same price range that is).

			The look real nice!

I'd put them up against any reel for best bang for your buck. I have several okuma's both spinning and casting. There is a new stiffness to them but once broke in they work with out question..Once set up proper they don't change there settings. I use a Okuma al100 baitcaster in the pitch dark of night fishing.. zooker

Just got the Serrano in the mail today. Seems like a nice , nice reel. Very lightweight , smooth as silk , and suprisingly small , and very much green. I am ordering the C3 Rod tonight....

CMorg are you aware that there is a $30 rebate on that reel? I read the review on the Serrano and it sounds like a good reel.
