Well, that sucks. I would have loved to replace my Lightning Rods for free.

I bought one for a spinnerbait/jig/wormin' rod.Mines 7' MH and although I've never caught a fish on it it has alot of tip and is really stiff everywhere else.(exactly how I like my rods).very sensitive

I have 2 of these and they are awesome. I got one 7'MH for flipping jigs and soft plastics. And the other, my favorite, is the 7'3" MH that I think is just so perfect for so many applications. Both are matched with Curado E7s and so light and totally balanced.
I got the 7'3" for throwing traps, chatterbaits, and spinnerbaits in the grass. It's got a solid backbone for ripping baits through the grass and good bend in the tip for added sensitivity. I have since started trying other baits on this rod and it's really impressive. It works perfect for small (4-6") swimbaits, swim jigs, flipping jigs, carolina rigs, buzzbaits.... To name a few. It is the type of rod you could have 10 of for 10 different applications. I highly recommend them. Plus, I have caught some 4's and 5' on them already and they hold up fine. AND did I mention how light they are.
