Besides, the ones that steal my bait get a meal and the ones I hook get sent back to grow more and catch another day.

Yeah, but I've heard that a 1/4 stick of dynamite is the right amount to use....and isn't there a fella on here with that handle ????

Sometimes I will use minnows when crappie fishing but that is the extent of my live bait fishing. When it comes to bass I would rather fool them than feed them lol.

I tried it once but Britney kept complaining about the aerators in the bait tanks running up the electric bill and when she got pinched on the butt by a crawdad it was time to go back to softplastics, jigs, and crankbaits lol.

We use minnows for crappie fishing, but it's odd we get more bass and cats, than crappies. We also use bluegill for large cats and bass also. Here of late, we even been useing artificial minnows and doing really well.

I use live minnows when im first taking a beginner out fishing, or the girlfriend.
Its only then when I can actually 99% garuantee catching fish, which is what they want to do. Most beginners dont like throwing hard to work lures around for hours with no fish. It'll put them off fishing forever. |
