Fished (actually guided) the PVA tournament today. My partner did well and culled some fish to finish third out of fifty nine boats. A tough day as many came in without fish. Very hot day but not bad when on the water. We fish tomorrow as a team and they're paying $10 per snakehead and $100 for biggest. Here snakey, snakey, snakey!

Loading the boat yesterday I hit something with my prop. Spun the hub and didn't find out until 5 am this morning. Couldn't make the run across the river to get my partner. He did get to fish today.
Turns out that they split prize money with boat owners and other prizes. Got a check that will cover cost of getting prop fixed. If you ever get a chance volunteer to fish in a Paralyzed Veterans of America tournament!!! |
