Default Don't know if y'all knew this...

Academy Sorts and Outdoors is now on the web where you can order from them. Academy has the H20 Xpress line of tackle. From what I understand-the fishing dept manager told me this-the difference between the H20 Xpress and Lucky Craft hardbaits is the name and the price. I can tell you first hand the H20s are fantastic crankbaits and they do look exactly like Lucky Craft hardbaits.

Not that this has anything to do with the topic, but Academy has been purchased by a private equity firm.

Question Academy has the H20 Xpress

Great news They are not set up to ship orders to the border Pembina North Dakota and paid for with a Canadian credit card if someone would order them for me and ship them to Pembina North Dakota I would pay for them and the shipping to a parcel pick up location.
Thanks

Rebbasser, I fish the H20 baits alot, thanks to a good friend of mine in Dallas, he hooked me up with several of the crankbaits and jerkbaits. While I love the H20 baits, they have good action, good finish, and sharp hooks, there are several small differences when you compare the two side by side. The two most noticeable differences are the weighting system and the finish. The shapes of the baits have several small differences also. These baits are a fantastic bait for the money, but LC still gets my vote, they just flat out catch fish and nothing suspends as good as a LC, outside of maybe a Megabass Vision.

I used academy cranks at pickwick during the get together. The best one I found was a chrome pattern, where I caught several smallmouth in a nice flurry.

The hooks are sharp; but a word of warning. One smallmouth broke a tine on the hook, which I attribute to hook failure. Then, a split ring pulled out. These were smallmouth, but that should not happen on a 14 inch smallie I dont care what. If you want to fish a tourney with them, I suggest considering changing the split rings.
