				 | Prevent line twist

As most are aware of, reeling in while a fish is pulling drag is a sure way to guarantee line twist on a spinning reel. So is it the same on a baitcaster? Logic and mechanics seem to tell me it's effects are minimal but I'm just curious? This is more of a curiousity for me than something I'm looking to change because at present I don't on either setup. So what do you think about this?

hey joedog. i really could not tell you if twist will occur on a baitcaster or not. i have my drags locked down, so, i am not ever reeling with the drag slipping. |
