I wouldn't. Not a chance. And though I am pretty libertarian, I'm not sure you should be allowed to, unless it's on private water. He does have some responsibility to not run into others who don't have a death wish.

I know a little about that boat...the owner built it to raise awareness and money for autism, because his child has it. http://www.mylittlebuddysboat.com/ That canal was empty, and I'm sure he's very careful when he's racing on other lakes and such.

"White Knuckles" is right! I get frightened at 40 mph. The thing about a boat that is always in the back of my head when I get up to speed...no brakes!

No way I ever would. Getting to your fishing spot is only helpful if you make it there alive. At that speed, just one mistake could kill.

Its below the world record for a bass boat set by David Schook in an allison 2002,smaller boat than that. One takes a motor like this wee 200 hp on steroids,16 in mid Places it on a fast boat allison or bullet normally Yes its a bass boat People serious about the triple ripple take the troller off. Theres a lil get together every year Jasper Tn,nothing but boats that really fly. That wee motor did around 92 0r 3 with timing advanced a hair, with a healthy shot of nitrous 104 in the 1/4. Stick around long enuff you end up with a weird nickname wild bill or forkin crazy. that motor is now part of the landscape, now with a tame stock ncoa 150 hp that dynos 185.What can I say im gettin old and possibly even going to sell mine. Sometimes you get more than one mistake sometime you dont. The trick is not how fast you go but with what lil hp as possible any boat can strap a rocket on and break the sound barrier.F4 phantom is a prime example of speed versus hp anything with enough thrust goes fast eventually. Meanwhile I still own and run it so if you dont want a small boat 20 ft long with a trolling motor to pass your bass boat with a 225 hp on it dont bring it to Ky lake. Ps it treats all other brands of motors equally with same disdain,so leave the black racing machine in the garage unless you want it embarressed Paul Nichols(Soddy Daisy) who runs black was doing 116 last week when he lost one blade off his prop anyone seen a prop fly by?Talk about a cat with 9 lives, despite his motor choice a great guy,and a credit to both fast boats and boats in general. HECK YEAH! If the water was right, no boat traffic to worry about and I was familiar with the boat, YES! YES! OH, YES! I've done 130 in a car, 135 on a motorcycle so 120 in a boat - I'd love to do that.

I imagine this cat has some serious wheel time. Seems like I read about it on BBC a couple of weeks ago. A competent driver in a closed setting, I see nothing wrong with it. I would ride once as long as I had a console. Eye lids would look like, let's just say a woman of many relations after riding in that open wind like that.

Most of the normal bb that do this are like the allison 2002-2003 one can wear a hat and not blow it off, console is extremely protected. Allisons hold all the world speed records for bass boats by the way. And anyone wishing to try a tamer 80 mph ride let me know, change me to a beneficary on your life insurance post 7k bond to cover the motor, ill hand you the keys. Closest water to to run it on is Ky lake. You do have to actually drive them with a surfaced prop a lot of sawing left on the wheel.Wind tends to kick up a tad in the afternoon so morning like this would suffice. A motor that does over 100 on any boat costs about half what the average new bb fully rigged does. And depending upon how hopped it is one gets so many runs in then rebuilds it or blows it. Its an expensive hobby running fast, add about 1 k for each mph above what a boat would normally do and you get the idea.My ncoa rated 150 hp outboard will do 80+,a stock 150 from the mfg 72-75 depending upon brand on my boat an allison 2002. Would I do it.... HELL YES! But, not on Lake Erie! We're lucky if we get over 55 on this lake... most of the time we have at least a 2 foot chop if not bigger waves like 4-6 footers are common. Then it's more like 25-30 at best. But take me to a wide open calm lake or canal like that, and let's BOOGIE!! Ryan

I have been 90-95 on the water and always wanted to break 100, count me in if the situation is right.

I have seen that video on so many other sites. It is only 74 mph he has it set on KPH. Still pretty fast and I agree sounds like an Optimax.
