Sorry, I have never tried it. I use Sufix Performance Braid and Power Pro.

I've used it. It's a good braid, although no where near "invisible."

I tried it because I thought the white would be easier to see than dark green when line watching while dropshotting. I was right, and wrong. While dark green is hard to see in shadow, the white stands out nicely. However, the white is hard to see if the water has a glare (where green braid is easy to see). As for the braid itself, it is good. It's smooth, doesn't fray too bad, and is pretty manageable. I had a couple wind knots with it, but I'm not convinced it was this particular braid's fault. The white does get quite dirty after a while. Overall, I like the new Sufix 832 braid better than the Ultracast (the invisibraid is basically white Ultracast). And it does come in white if that's what you're looking for. Just be warned it is not "invisible." BB

			It's my go to braid.

It casts well and braid strength is basically the same in my eyes. I use it on spinning gear too. The funny thing is. The clearer the water, the more invisible it is. ![]() If your water has ANY COLOR, it will appear white just like Anthoney said. What I do is just black sharpie the last couple of feet. Seems to work. Oh I black sharpie the invisibraid too. ![]() ![]() But I like the way it casts.

SpiderWire Ultra Cast is my bait cast line of choice... has been since it was introduced. My color of choice was hi-vis yellow, before Pure Fishing discontinued it. I've fished it side-by-side with several other braids (including 832) and have always come back to the Ultra-Cast. As mentioned above, white is just a color. Not heavily coated, eight strands and very tightly wound. I prefer a stiffer line for spinning gear, currently NanoFil.

I try a new line each year... sometimes a couple. Fish it side by side with current favorites for the entire year. Those that don't make my cut get spooled back on the plastic spool it came on. Sometimes I go back and try it again another year or just use it for backing. This year I'm going to try the new line from Tuf-Line. I'll fish the 12lb on spinning gear... or switch it back and forth from spinning to casting. By season end I'll have an opinion on it compared to NanoFil and Ultra-Cast.
