Nine years ago I helped MD DNR do a survey of LGMouth habits. 20 LGMouth alive and kicking where donated from a small tournament where the anglers where to record eactly where they caught there fish. Each was given a plastic tag with a number. Fish where caught and tagged and each angler described the exact location of where the fish was caught. I mean exact right down to second limb on said tree three laydowns into said creek. All 20 bass where returned to Smallwood State park for tagging and release. Some traveled twenty miles to weigh in. 17 of the fish radio tagged returned to with in 100 feet of capture point. 1 stayed at dock where released. 2 where never found. The 17 that returned did it in less than two days.
Kinda interesting you think.. Wish I had the exact report but this is the gist of it. Capt Mike
