Good weekend

Got out on the mudhole yesterday. Found a huge school of bait and birds everywhere. Couldn't find any bass or stripers. Hit a couple areas finding bait between 16-24 ft but once again no bass. Ran down to the warmest part of the lake, 50 deg., and found bait but no bites. Did see one small bass suspended under a dock in 13ft and 40 degree water. Not hungry either. Oh well. It was good to get out for a half day.
Today I danced with the monkey down at BPS and Green Top. Found some RC's for sale. Couldn't pass them up. Grabbed some Yum Dingers with new F2 scent. Needed a couple chatterbaits too.
Green Top isn't a chain so they keep up with trends and new baits so I grabbed a bag of Jackall cross tail shads and some Power Team bully grass devils and texas-rig jigs. Check them out if you haven't seen them. Also anyone see the RI big dippers yet? Two racks were sold out. Bigger version of the skinny dipper.
Of course the monkey got me to spend a little cash but it could have been worse.....but the shows are coming up quick!
