Storm Swimbaits
I bought a pack of those 6" Storm swimbaits (shad color) the other day and took them to some ponds I fish. We didn't have much luck Saturday but before we left I made a cast (with the swimbait) to a sunken tree in some deep water off the bank and wham... caught a 6lber. She was 23" long but skinny. She had the entire swimbait in her mouth. There are some hawg bass in those ponds and I think they will smoke that bait. I had smaller fish hit it but couldn't eat it. I don't expect to catch a lot of bass on it but the ones that eat it should be nice!
