Weekend Fishing Report
So this weekend I fished 2 nights. The first night I went out in my canoe and casted towards shore. Using my baby bass rapala crankbait I caught a nice size smallmouth. Then as it got darker out, I decided to dock and fish from shore for a little more. I tied my double jointed deep diving minnow rapala onto my line and the first cast, BOOM, I got a fish. Another nice sized smallmouth bass. After a couple more casts with the same lure I cuaght another smallmouth bass and decided to pack up considering it was getting late. The next night I used my deep diving minnow lure again and missed a fish, but then put my baby bass lure on and caught a 18 inch largemouth bass. Went backto the dock again and only caught one little smallmouth....the second night wasn't as good as the first night.
