I went fishing last Sunday and caught a nice little hawg. Because the weeds were so thick, I had to wade past the weed line to get to open water to revive/release the fish. After 30 minutes, she still wanted to float. Since there was nothing else I could do I figured I'd leave her and let nature do her thing. For catching a 10 pounder and unsure if she lived, I was pretty upset.
Today I got off work early and decided to hit the same little pond. I paddled out to the area where I caught the first hawg and threw the same crankbait I caught the previous hawg on. Very first cast I get a bite and instantly knew I had something big. Sure enough, it appears I caught the same hawg on the same lure in the same spot, only 5 days apart. Although it may just be a coincidence that I caught a fish with the same measurements, but I think not. I don't know whats better, catching this fish twice, or getting hung up on a lucky craft lure that I lost a month before.
