First Custom Rod!
This is a 9' 7 weight. I got most of the stuff to build it, including the blank, for free as long as a make another guy a 9 weight, which I will be building next. It is a Pacific Bay Blank. It turned out pretty well.
  The guides look much darker in person. I know they look kind of pink in the picture.   I didn't buy a premade butt. It came with cork rings. I sanded it myself with this. It worked well!
