Question about knots.

Since i've decided to use something other than monofilament on a couple of my reels, that got me to thinking about the knot I use and would it work with these types of lines? I've been to a couple of websites about tying knots and even watched a bunch of videos called "knotwars" and I noticed that none of the knots i'd seen were what I use....so I drew up a picture of the knot I've been using for years to see if ya'll recognize it? Don't recall where I learned it but I've never had a knot failure with it using mono....do you think it'll work for braid or even flouro? For connecting two different lines i've always used the Uni to Uni knot....will that still work ok for tying a flouro leader to braid?
