pliers

ok guys, i was at dicks sporting goods today and i was looking at pliers because i recently lost mine. i cant decide between two pairs. one is by field and stream. the other is rapala. they are both 8 inches. they both come with a kind of sheath which is what i like. the big difference is that the field and stream pliers looks like standard pliers and the rapala pliers have a bent piece of metal between the handles like a spring would do but at the tip of the pliers, its bent. im not sure what this bent part is for but i dont think it would be useful. i need some insight to what the tip is for. the price isnt much of a difference. i just like the rapala spring but dont understand the tip which is making me lean towards the field and stream pair of pliers. its 3 a.m., i apologize for any gramer,, and speelin arrors.
