So I go fishing over my lunch hour just about every day. Today I took a late lunch and went fishing. I just bought some Berkley Powerbait Power worms and these are the best worms I’ve ever used. I’ve bought different brands because they were cheaper and I had a few extra dollars on me. But I digress. Usually after I come back from fishing I head down to the cafeteria to grab a bite to eat. Well after using this Powerbait Power worm I just have to grab another pack in a red color. I’m going to a lake tomorrow after work that I caught my first bass using a Texas rig. The worm was one of those cheapos with a red tail so I know they will crush this power worm. So instead of eating lunch today, as hungry as I am, I decided to starve so I could spend my $5 on another bag of Power worms.
Is this normal behavior for anglers? I’m worried that fishing will overtake my life if I’m willing to starve instead of eat. I almost feel like I have a gambling habit that’s starting to reveal itself by my unusual behavior. |
