Fishing with my dad...
I made a quick trip down to Iowa to do some fishing with my dad today. We didn't catch a lot, but the ones we did catch were nice size.
I started things off with a 3lb 4oz, 18.0" LM caught in the thick muck. It took some horsing to get him in. This was the first of three I would catch on an all black Spro Poppin' Frog. The second picture is what my frog looked like after releasing the fish. My dad landed the next one using a green scum frog. It was 3lb 3oz, 18.5". I finished things off with the last two -- both were 18.25", the first one weighed in at 3lb 9oz and the last one was the pig of the day at 3lb 14oz. Here's the junk we were fishing in. |
