Today at the lake was a slow day, so I thought I might as well learn how to skip with a bait caster. Honestly, I did not think it was a hard as I thought it was;
I had to tighten the tension knob all the way though. I did a kind of 2 handed roll cast. At was first only skipping it 2 or three times, but after 5 minutes or so, I was skipping at 10' - 15'. The trick is is to keep your thumb having a little bit of pressure on the spool! btw, I was using a jig, and only caught a dink! ![]()
