I'm looking into trying swimbaits this year, and I wanted to get a couple medium sized ones. I've got two 4"ers already, but I want something in the 6-8" range. I don't want to spend a ton either. If possible, I'd like to keep it under $25 per bait.
I really wanted hard swimbaits, but I've been hearing a lot of good about the 6 and 8" Hudds. I was also looking at the new 6" Spro BBZ-1. I will be fishing these in a lake that has some really big bass, but also some huge Musky. They both gorge on the hundreds of thousands of 3-5" crappie, lol. The Musky is why I didn't want to spend more than 20-25 bucks a piece. I won't spend more than our most expensive musky lure, lol. Any other suggestions from the swimbait guys on here? BB
