Made a little trip yesterday

Me and mbfishingking got to make a couple hour trip yesterday outside of Houston. I would like to start out saying that he is a cool dude and it's nice to know you can still meet people on the blind and share a common interest. But we met up about 4:30 and made a trip to one of the local parks. The wind was killer though, so after about 2 hours of hauling water, we headed over to one of his other ponds at a public pack. We got over there and fished a while, he went one way on the bank and I tried the other. I got a decent hit in some muck and kept trying to cast on a male guard the bed, but he wasn't having it. I watched "mb" snag 2 within a few minutes apart and started smelling a skunk in my aura. But I managed to pull through a few minutes before dark with a little bass on a Bass Assassin white jerk. We are going to make a trip to Buffalo Run in the morning, so maybe we will pick up a few more. But I think that it is awesome to be able to make a post and have people that have the same passion as you, and are willing to lead you around an unfamiliar area. I appreciate it MB.
