Good luck Bad luck

Hit Little Platte Lake for the 2nd straight day today. Hadn't been there since last season before this weekend. Pretty odd, since it was one of my favorite lakes last year.

Caught 10 bass and 1 nice rock bass. All in all, a pretty good day.

BUT! The first 2 bass I caught were 3+ pounds. At the time, I didn't realize you hafta select "save" on my new phone, to save the pic. My last LG wasn't like that, so those 2 aren't being represented here tonight.
The other stroke of bad luck: the rock bass was all of 12" which makes the michigan master angler list by an inch.
After takin his pic, I decided to get him back in the water, so I could fumble around for my tape measure. Thought he was sufficiently hooked. I thought wrong. Not gonna make the list with that one. And here I wanted to make the list with at least 3 species this year!

Oh yeah! I also had to snip the hook to save the life of a little bass. DINK!!!!

Missed a couple hooksets and had 2 come unbuttoned. All fish came on a spinnerbait, pulled across and through lily pads.
