Help me name this knot

20 + yers ago I went to a fishing seminar, There I learned to tie a Knot and I don't remember the name. I hope that i can adequately describe how to tie it so that someone will recognize the knot and help with the name.

Pass the tag end through the hook or lure and bring it back up 1 1/2 inch above the hook or lure. Hold the lines together parrellel and come back down toward the lure/hook. wind the line around both lines three times and then the tag end goes back through the loop at the top. Pull tight.

I use this knot on both braid and mono. Has served me well for over 20 years. If anyone knows the name please let me know. I have searched the internet and a book I have of ropes and knots and haven't been able to find it. thanks in advance
