BPS to the rescue.

I am so very lucky to have a BPS store just 25 minutes from my home. Middle of winter, snowing to beat all today, cabin fever eatting away at the soul, but one trip to BPS really helps! And of course I had to pick up a few things. They have some good deals going now. Picked up some Quantum Hot Sauce, and Excaliber crankbait in Tennessee Special, and a couple packs of Yum Salleemanders in Black Neon and Cajun Neon. Saw a couple rods that got me to thinking. I'm planning on buying a Garcia Vendetta 7'3" H-XF for froggin. But they have the discontinued BPS Nitro rods there now for $89.00 and they have a 7'2" XH-XF model which might make a great froggin rod. But it might actually be a bit too stiff. AND, they also have the Johnny Morris Signiture series rod in the same for $119.00! Another temptation. Plus they also have the gold Jonny Morris casting reels for $129.00. The monkey was really poking at me this time. But I kept myself under control.
