Default Pulled a momma off her bed today!

I wanna say a solid 6 or 7lbs. My battery died in the scale (dammit)....

Took the jon out today and caught a few fish. Loaded the boat up and proceeded to head home when I decided to hit this local pond by my house and bank fish it. I just found this pond yesterday so I wanted to put to some time into it. Within the first 5 minutes I caught a 2.5ish lber off a fluke.

Then decided to walk around and look for beds since this pond is clear. So I found a bed with no momma. I also saw some snot weed matted in a corner nearby and was gonna throw a frog on it when I heard a big swirl. I looked back and saw "her"! I grabbed the fluke rod (W/red magnum fluke). Crept up and laid that fluke right on the bed. Took about two minutes for her to bite it but she did....................Couple different pics for size comparison.....

I'm gonna go back and catch her tomorrow!
