I made yet another purchase yesterday at BPS...
I have been using a BPS PQ Tournament on my Tour KVD 7' M Cranking Rod and while it is a great reel and it casts like a dream, it is really light (7 oz.), and didn't balance out right with that big composite rod. So I intended on getting a Quantum Smoke 150 in 5.3:1, but beacuse it was such light weight I wanted something a little heavier to balance it out. Ended up going with a Tour KVD Reel, in 5.3:1. It makes the combo much more balanced, and balance is only abut 3 inches off the seat now. (It was about 6 inches off the seat with the PQT.) The color matches perfectly with the rod, and the reel is BUTTER smooth. I know the new ACS3 brakes will throw a mile, so it should be a great combo, and I look forward to breaking it in this spring! Here is a pic.... Ryan
