IMO, which I admit accounts for very little, I veiw the expressed concerns as valid. The OP is brand new, offering obviously damaged goods - how damaged, who really knows - with no guarantee or warranty. Would you be willing to vouch for this individual? Sending $2K to someone for a "pig in a poke" so-to-speak, is a leap of faith I am not willing to take. If he were a regular, or known to someone who is and has established his credibility, that may be another story. I'm not saying this is an attempted scam, but it's not a risk I would be willing to assume. That is obviously the opinion of some others also that are not as trusting as you, Vegas, obviously would be. If it's legit, then I wish him luck with the sale, but it would be better to do so locally, face-to-face where any issues can be resolved in the same manner.
