Fishing with my nephew
I took my 15 year old nephew fishing tonight. He likes to fish, but he only gets to do it maybe once or twice a year due to his involvement in high school sports. We made it out to the gravel pits here in northern IA for about 90 minutes before it got dark. I was just hoping he would catch a fish, and it turned out better than that as we each caught two! His both came on a purple T-rigged 5" senko, and the biggest was this one that was 2lb 1oz and 15.5" long.
 I caught one on Black Widow Poppin' Frog and also this decent one at 3lb 6oz, 17" on a black/white Koppers Field Mouse. It was a windy but fun night for the two of us to enjoy some quality fishing time together!
