Do to Ken's "whats this thread" I was curious,

What was your very first car or truck?
For those who are waiting yet to get thier first vehicle, what do you hope it to be?

My first vehicle was a '63' Ford Falcon with 3 on the tree.
For those who don't know what three on the tree is, it was manual transmission setup that had unsynchrinized gears. You had to be at a complete stand still to get in first gear. The stick was on the streering column and the first gear was so low as soon as you got any RPMs in first you imediately shifted to second. Every stop sign or light you had to drop in first to get going again. And by the time you would make it through the first 'cross walk' you were already shifting to second.
Paid $75 dollars for it!....Man, the good old days......! (I don't have a single fishing rod under a $100 and ya, most alot more). I drove it for 2 years and replaced an alternater, thats it. But it's neat to look back!
