I was very hesitant to put this in the "bragging" section because there was certainly nothing to brag about. Hubby and I hit the water about 5:30 Saturday morning. He had better luck than me but only managed to get one in the boat that was at least 15 inches. We probably had 10 total.
Hit the water again Monday morning about 6:00 a.m. I got two pretty quick with one being a 15 incher. Things slowed down after that and it seemed to be forever before we got another bite. I paid him back for Saturday though and managed to boat 2 more that would have been considered "keepers". We got caught in two pretty good downpours. We probably had 12 - 15 or so total. I was cold and wet and quit counting. ![]() Isn't it strange how you nearly freeze to death when it is 76 degrees in the summer but would consider that temp absolutely heavenly when coming off the water in the winter? Or maybe we are just getting old. Say it ain't so! ![]() |
