Default Lesson learned.

Ive been dreading writing this but here goes. I got an invite to go fishing at a privately owned lake. I went just to wet a line. Low and behold after about 30 minutes i get a bit on a swim bait. Little did i know i had approximately a 7lb bass. I get it in the boat and lip it. While digging for my phone frantically to get a pic. I had never caught anything this big before and severely underestimated its strength. It shook once and flopped on the center bench of the john boat, then one more flop and into the water she swam. After about 30 minutes of kicking myself i got back to fishing and had to leave an hour later. I have been invited back this weekend and am determined to get that fish. Maybe bigger. I would like to say that thanks to all of you though. All the advice and tips have helped improve my quality of fishing and i will get this fish with pics this weekend.
