Nice 6XD fish

Trying to gain some confidence in deep cranks. I did ok last year with a Little John DD and a SK 5XD but nothing very great. This year I've caught a 7.51 on a Series 5 then last Friday I was doing pretty well with a 5XD but marking bigger marks on a ledge in the 19-22 foot range so I decided to break out the 6XD. I've caught a grand total of 1 fish on the thing so I wasn't exuding confidence. I managed to catch a couple small fish (about all the lake ever produces) when my bait came off a limb and got thumped. At 4.23 pounds she wasn't a monster but it felt good to get a good fish on it. That 6XD is a big bait but it doesn't look so big when the fish coughs something like what she did up in the boat!
