Default Radiated mudhole

Got out over the weekend to fish on Lake Anna. Conditions should have been good with cool and cold nights and warm days. The bait fish should have been busting up the backs of the creeks and the bass/striper/crappie/etc should have been there feeding on them. Shoulda, coulda, woulda.......

The bait fish were schooled up, left the creeks, and were sitting in the main lake channels in 30-40' of water. Some bass were schooling along with stripers but you had to find them to catch them. Some people caught fish on rocky points throwing shakey head worms (not my style of fishing) so it was a long weekend with very few bites or fish. But it was a weekend of fishing and that's better than not fishing or working so I enjoyed getting out on the water . I did catch a nice fish on a custom black/blue jig with a D-Bomb trailer in same color.

Nice colors on the water......
