Uncle Si vs the Monkey

So I get a card in the mail letting me know I've accumulated a few points or a little $ to spend at BPS. I also get another a few days later letting me know that Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty will be there last Sat from 1-5pm to sign autographs for those of us who have the BPS credit card. I also get a shot at winning $2500 so I decide to make the drive down 95. I get there at 12:30 and the place is a zoo. Long lines snaking their way around all over the outside of the store. I knew the show was popular but this was ridiculous. I think Si is really funny but now I've got a decision to make. Stand in long lines or go in and buy some baits.......... Bait Monkey wins by a landslide. No contest. So in I go and pick my way through some stuff. Find a couple Zman Chatterbaits that I have a tough time finding. The black chrome blades are hard to come by around here and I find a bunch.....Sweet! Pick up a frog and one of the new Rapala's and I'm done.
So I head outside and walk around the crowd to see if I can register for the $2500. I'm told that I can't drop the card off but I can stand in line (a very short one) and register online. Now I'm in the running for the money lets see what else is going on. So I ask about the line to meet Si and I'm told which line that is........and it wraps 1/4 mile around the back of the building (maybe not 1/4 mile but it looks like a Disney Land nightmare!!!!). It seems that not only can people with the credit card meet him but everyone with a reward card can meet him too. Strange that it never said that on the card I got. As I check out the line I hear a familiar voice call out "Hey! You ain't no redneck!" and I look up to see an old co-worker standing in the front of the line. He's been there since 9am (his wife is a big fan). I laugh at him and we start to chat and catch up since I haven't seen him in a couple years. After a while, it's now well past 1pm and Si is no where to be seen, I start to question the sanity of my friend and the rest of the people in line. I decide that it's not worth the wait to get 1, that's right 1, autograph and say goodbye to my friend and I head out to the parking lot. It's 1:50pm and Si is still not there.
