Methods to keep plastic from sliding down and sinker from sliding up
I came up with these ideas a year ago which may be of use:
Other than using a swivel or parasite clip, try this: 1. tie a polamar knot using two wraps of the loop 2. bring the loop over the curve of the hook and tighten the knot You're done! ~c~ If you would like an alternative to a bobber stopper to keep a bullet weight in place close to the hook or anywhere else on the line, do this: 1. add a bead to the line between the sinker and rod 2. with a separate piece of mono or fluorocarbon line, tie a uni-knot (4-5 wraps) between the bead and rod. 3. slide the knot into position You're done! ~c~ What you've accomplished is making sure the worm can't slide down the hook and kept the sinker from sliding up the line. I should have posted this before, but better late than never! Last edited by senkosam; 12-28-13 at 08:37 AM. |
